Thai Nguyen has been considered for hundreds years to produce the best green tea in Vietnam.
Our green tea is hand-picked with the selection of one young bud and the next two leaves (know as 1 tôm 2 lá) before 10am, then being wilted a bit under sunshine for tenderizing, during that time, the tea is also fermented in very low percentage. After a few hours, farmers fried them on a wok for the ideal dryness, this is when the tea is shaped and the fermentation is stopped. That is traditional technique to preserve the vibrant green color, fresh aroma and tasty profile.
